About the Snorkel
Snorkellers will be exploring the inshore Fly Point area around the dive entry, with the final snorkelling boundary confirmed during the safety briefing.
Snorkellers will need to stay within the nominated area, remain with their buddy and follow instructions from the event leaders and shore watch.
Club snorkelling gear will be available where required, but please let us know what equipment you need when booking.
BBQ & Social
After the water activities we’ll set up around Fly Point Park for a BBQ and social.
You’re more than welcome to come along even if you don’t want to dive or snorkel.
Public toilets and showers are available near the park.
Important Information:
Snorkellers do not need a dive certification but must be competent swimmers.
The event is weather and conditions dependent. Weather, tide, current, visibility and general site conditions will be checked before the event. The dive or snorkelling components may be changed or cancelled independently if conditions are unsuitable.
Final meeting times and any event updates will be sent out closer to the day.
